Executive Function Coaches
I am a teacher with a passion for people of all ages! I love getting to know students and learning about what motivates and excites them. Being a teacher, I also understand the challenges that students often face in an educational setting. I am excited to encourage and uplift students by helping them develop Executive Function skills. My goal is that students learn these skills so they can have more success in all areas of life and feel confident that they can be their best.
In my free time you will find me at the beach, on a trail, or cooking in my kitchen. I also love DIY and home improvement projects. I am so excited to connect with you!
Andy loves sports of all kinds, reading fantasy and science fiction, and playing board games. Specifically, he follows Manchester City of the Premier League, loves any book by Brandon Sanderson, and his favorite board game right now is Gloomhaven.
Andy has been married to his teacher wife Molly since 2017. They have a cat named Neville and reside in sunny San Diego.
I have been teaching for over 12 years , grades TK- 6th. Most recently I was a classroom teacher at a sweet private school in Rancho Santa Fe, Ca where I taught fourth grade for 10 years. When I left to have my two babies, Skylar ( 3 years old) and Wyatt ( 1 year old) I took a new job as HST at Pacific Coast Academy where I was a liaison for homeschool families. I worked there for three years and loved helping parents teach their own kids. I learned so much about all of the resources, learning theories, and varied curricula that's available to families. I missed the actual day to day of teaching so much though so I will be back to in person teaching part time with elementary students, as well as my new role as an executive functioning coach here at Dayspring. As a mom , and an educator, I believe in kids. I love helping students hone in on their strengths and build upon goals they have for themselves. I'm excited to partner with all of you this year and watch our students soar!
